Located to starboard in Sechelt Narrows near Agamemnon Channel, Egmont Marina is a well-known stop and the last service center when cruising to Princess Louisa Inlet. It is also near beautiful Harmony Islands and Sechelt Inlet, the Inland Sea. The owners invite you to come to see the expansion and new services. In addition to moorage, other facilities include the Backeddy Marine Pub, liquor retail store, light housekeeping cabins, motel, and a provision store.
When approaching the floats, head into the current and be aware that moderate to strong currents are constant in the vicinity. The dock attendant monitors VHF Channels 16 and 66 A. Expanded floats with 900' of transient moorage, equipped with 115 volt, 15 and 30 ampere power, accommodate boats to 90'. Permanent moorage is available. Gas, diesel, fresh drinking water, hose down water, showers, laundry, and launch ramp are accessible. The pub's Skookum Burger, said to be the largest burger on the B.C. coast, is a popular favorite. Other house specialties include fish and chips and fresh local prawns and oysters (in season). Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The store stocks the goods most requested by boaters including ice, fresh dairy products, frozen foods, canned goods, drugstore items, housewares, clothing, and books. Fishing licenses, bait, tackle, charters, and guide service are available. Boat rentals, and a dive shop are on site. Tradesmen and divers are on call for repairs, including welding. Water taxi and emergency towing. By car, the resort is a two hour drive from the Langdale ferry landing on Highway 101. Open all year, seven days a week.
