Why fly the new Northwest Boat Travel Club Burgee?
This lovely burgee will identify your boat as a Northwest Boat Travel Club member. It will be a conversation piece on your bow sprit or bridge mast. Boaters may ask you what the symbol means. Boaters may say "Hello fellow NBT Club boater". We are offering these first-class burgees to our members at our cost, plus S&H, because, not only will they help members meet other boaters with similar interests, they will also help us promote Northwest Boat Travel Guide and Northwest Boat Travel On-Line
Through the years, many members have suggested an NBT Club Burgee. The new pennant-style burgee was designed by Members David & Irene Axup, of Melbourne, Australia. It was presented to us on July 2, 2000, while the Axups were in British Columbia finalizing plans for a 4-month "Dream Cruise" of the Northwest Inside Passage in summer of 2001. See the Axup's interesting article about planning the cruise appears in the Summer Member printed magazine and will also be part of the new Member On-Line Magazine.
The new burgee is now available as a handsome, sewn applique pennent to fly on bow staffs or bridge masts.
Thanks, David & Irene.
