The Gillard Pass Fisheries Association is
pleased to host their eighth annual Big Bay Salmon Enhancement Barbeque and Auction, to be held outdoors at the Stuart Island Community Hall on July 31,
2010.
The evening begins at 5pm with appetizers
followed by an amazing buffet supper – beer and wine are available. The event
will include raffles and a silent auction, and concludes with an exciting live
auction that includes adventure trips, original artwork, jewelry and other
unique items. The live auction is conducted by a professional auctioneer from
Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers and is always entertaining.
This event is a popular stop for many
cruisers. In 2009, 250 people attended
and helped to raise over $100,000 for salmon enhancement!
Tickets for the evening are $40 and can be
purchased at the event. Moorage is available at the Stuart Island Community
Dock and can be arranged by contacting the Stuart Island Community Association
at (250)-202-3625 or StuartIslandCA@aol.com.
