
Located in historic Port Townsend on a main route
to
and from the San Juan Islands, this customs port-of-entry has both
permanent
and transient moorage available.
The rock breakwater, which protects
Port
Townsend Boathaven, is located 1.1 miles southwest of Point Hudson.
Entrance
is at the south east end of the marina. Pass the Coast Guard station and
tie
up at the west end of the fuel/registration dock. For slip assignment,
check
in at the Moorage Office immediately upon arrival. The office is in the
white, one story building at the head of the ramp. Twenty, 30, and 50
ampere
power and abundant water are supplied to the floats. The fuel dock has
gas,
diesel, stove oil, propane, and waste pump-out. Other facilities include
a
launch ramp and dump station. One of the largest upland storage
facilities
on the west coast, serviced by 100 marine trade service providers for
vessels weighing up to 330 tons. All types of marine repairs can be
accommodated on site, and do-it-yourself space is available. Marine
parts,
charts, and supplies, showers, and laundry are available, and towing and
water taxi services can be arranged. Within easy walking distance are
lodging facilities, groceries, and restaurants serving breakfast, lunch,
and
dinner. Port Townsend is a favorite destination for those who enjoy
touring
the picturesque buildings and learning about the cityıs prominence in
the
19th century as one of the leading seaports in the northwest. Marina
hours
are 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. seven days a week in summer, Monday through
Friday
